A Taste of the Caribbean Rooted in Family Tradition
Cozy Caribbean started with a simple dream: to bring the taste of home-cooked Caribbean meals to Fort Lauderdale. The recipes we serve come from family cooking, and the same care goes into every plate that leaves our kitchen at 3007 West Commercial Blvd.
Our menu is built on the dishes we grew up with: slow-simmered brown stew, rich curry goat, tender oxtail and jerk chicken seasoned the traditional way. Nothing is rushed and nothing comes out of a packet. We cook everything fresh in our own kitchen, because that is the only way we know how to make real Caribbean food.
Cozy Caribbean is owned and run by a Caribbean family that has cooked these recipes at home for years. The same family is in the kitchen every day, so the seasoning, the slow cooking and the portions taste the same from one visit to the next. We opened in Fort Lauderdale because we wanted our neighbors to have a place for real, home-style Jamaican food, the kind we cook for our own family.
